As vascular surgeons we are really adept at minimally invasive procedures to revascularize our patients. Unfortunately, we have fallen short with appropriate and timely wound care therapy, as our patients have difficulty accessing our local care centers and starting their treatment.

To improve the situation we are now starting to do more wound care at our practice, and this week learned about different modalities that can help improve on healing, particularly in diabetic foot ulcers.
